Paula Yust is a fifth-year Developmental Psychology PhD student at Duke University working with Dr. Steven Asher. Her CCHD secondary mentor is Dr. Jill Hamm at UNC-CH. Her research focuses on friendships in early childhood through young adulthood, particularly on how the quality of friendships, the beliefs and ideas people have about friendship, and the larger peer social context are associated with social and emotional well-being in school.
