Research Interests & Goals:
Kenneth Dodge is William McDougall Professor of Public Policy and Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University. He is interested in how chronic violence develops across the lifespan, how prevention programs can alter the trajectory of development for high-risk youth and maltreating parents, and how public policies can be shaped to prevent violence in children and families. Dodge directs the Center for Child and Family Policy at Duke, which is devoted to forging a link between research on child development and public policy.
